Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, (conceived December 28, 1945, Kathmandu, Nepal-bit the dust June 1, 2001, Kathmandu), lord of Nepal from 1972 to 2001, tenth in the line of rulers in the Shah Dev family members.
